The program Lock It was created mainly for the NSA of the Slov ak Republic and for anybody who needs to communicate with the public administration. Program Lock It can be used freely and the main intent of usage is to support eIDAS regulation(Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 July 2014 on electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions in the internal market and repealing Directive 1999/93/EC), Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2015/1506 of 8 September 2015 laying down specifications relating to formats of advanced electronic signatures and advanced seals to be recognised by public sector bodies pursuant to Articles 27(5) and 37(5) of Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council on electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions in the internal market (Text with EEA relevance), Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2015/1505 of 8 September 2015 and a new national identity card with a built-in electronic chip – a so-called electronic identity card (eID) and the implementation of the Services Directive and e-procedures where the requirements of the implementation of the already adopted Decisions (2009/767/EC and 2010/425/EU) and the Decision CD 2011/130/EU on reference advanced e-signature formats (notified under document C(2011) 1081) have been the basis for the LockIt creation. Information is included in PDF document Improvement of the signature usage and validation and in the presentation Electronic signature - simply, long-term, safely and in accordance with Commission Decision 2011/130/EU.

Signature creation of formats according to COMMISSION DECISION 2011/130/EU and Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2015/1506 were successfully tested on ETSI remote Plugtests.

Lock It can be used for the electronic signature creation of any type of electronic documents. The PDF or XML document can be signed directly where the PDF/XML AdES BES, EPES or T formats are used or for the signature creation of the package of electronic documents where the CMS AdES BES, EPES or T or Archive time-stamp formats are used. Lock It  can be also used for the PDF document Time-Stamp creation and data package or TXT document Time-Stamp creation.

It can be used for signing the XML Trusted List and Human readable version of XML Trusted List in PDF qualified or advanced electronic signature to match the requirements that stem from Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2015/1505 and Commission Decision 2010/425/EU of 28 July 2010 amending Decision 2009/767/EC as regards the establishment, maintenance and publication of trusted lists of certification service providers supervised/accredited by Member States. 
Alternative Long Term Validation TL is published in the CMS signature TrustedList.p7m.

Localization

Anybody is now able to use the LockIt in his/her preferred language. Translate the file LockItLanguage.txt from translation.zip and put it together with the LockIt.exe in the same directory. The LockIt.exe will be translated during the start according to the information from the file LockItLanguage.txt. (Translation can be also published on the Lock It web through pr@mailbox.sk)

The application Lock It can be used in the command line. 

Usage: LockIt.exe [operation] outputSignFile [-i input1 input2 ... inputX]

Where possible operations are:
    -s : sign input1..X files or outputSignFile (wildcards * ? and directory allowed) and save the signture to outputSignFile as the signature type [*.XML|*.PDF|*.ZIP|*.ZEP]
    -v : validate outputSignFile which must be of the type:  [*.XML|*.PDF|*.ZIP|*.ZEP] (no wildcards!)
